Lower Moreland Township (Pop. 13, 200; $15M financial operation), a Township of the First Class in Montgomery County, PA is seeking applicants for the position of Finance Director. The Finance Director is responsible for the management of all financial functions including monthly financial reports, budget planning, audits, pension plan management, payroll for all full-time and part-time employees, bank reconciliations and invoices. In addition to these finance functions the position will also include human resource management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of municipal fiscal procedures and policies, financial accounting software, will operate within the accepted governmental accounting principles. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, public or business administration or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a progressively responsible financial management positon. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. EOE.
