Beginning June 29, 2020, the Lower Moreland Township Administration Building will reopen to the public. A mask is required for entry into the Township building and residents are asked to follow the posted protocol, which limits the number of residents in the lobby at the same time. Staff is available during normal business hours, Monday- Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and also by email at
[email protected]. Meetings are by appointment only.
Township Park Facilities – As a reminder, all outdoor basketball courts, tennis and pickle ball courts, baseball fields and the turf at Valley Center Park are open for public use. Please note that public access to Township park facilities may be limited at times due to use by the Huntingdon Valley Athletics Association (HVAA). Township playgrounds will be open for play beginning on June 26, 2020. We continue to ask that residents practice social distancing and follow CDC guidance when using these facilities.
Tax Collection- The
face value real estate tax payment due date is August 20, 2020. Although the Township Building is reopening, the lobby is not large enough for residents to socially distance to accommodate the number of in-person payments. It is strongly recommend that Township, County and School tax payments be mailed or placed in the lock box outside the building. Please call 215-947-7661 or email
[email protected] with any tax related inquiries.
