On March 15, 2009 the skeletal remains of an unidentified adult male were discovered along a wooded area near Pine Road and Red Lion Road in Lower Moreland Township. This wooded area is west of the Island Green Golf Course.

The remains were examined by the Montgomery County Coronor's Office and Forensic Anthropologist William Rodriguez of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. A facial reconstruction was completed by forensic artist Detective Evelyn Grant of the Baltimore County, MD Police Department. Click Here to view a photograph of the reconstruction.

The following observations and details are as follows:

  • Race: Mixed-Race
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 45 to 55 years of age
  • Height: 5 feet 5 inches
  • Approximate period of death: 12 to 18 months (September 2007 to March 2008)
  • History of illegal drug use
  • Medical Condition: Moderate scoliosis (curvature of spine), moderate arthritis on lumbar spine, fusing join on left side of pelvis, bone spurs on bottom of feet consistent with plantaritis.
    • The spinal and pelvic issues would have caused great discomfort and this person should have displayed an uneven gait or limp and reduced flexibility.
  • Clothing:
    • Grey US Polo Assn pleated/cuffed dress pants- men's size 32 waist, 28 length.
    • Black Dexter dress shoes (approximate size 10).
    • Brownish colored dress socks with black checkerboard pattern
    • Hanes brief style men's underwear
    • There was no shirt located on or near the remains
  • Dental: Missing two molars. All other teeth present and in good condition. past dental work evident.
