Right-To-Know Law

Act 3 of 2008 is Pennsylvania's new Right-To-Know Law. On January 21, 2009, the Board of Commissioner’s adopted Resolution No. 09-01 which establishes the procedure by which Lower Moreland Township will address requests made for records under the Right-To-Know Law.

The purpose of Lower Moreland Township's Public Records Access Policy and Act 3 is to provide access to public records of Lower Moreland Township.

Requests for Records

Requests may be submitted in person, by mail, by e-mail, or by fax. All requests must be in writing on the Township's Record Request Form. Arrangements can be made for documents to be viewed at no charge during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
